Is this right for you?
This program is for you if…

Your student checks at least one of these boxes:

They're aiming for BS/MD, pre-med, or a top biomedical research program — and want original cancer research to differentiate their application.
They're passionate about understanding cancer at a molecular and cellular level — from how tumors form and spread to how immunotherapy and targeted treatments work.
They've never done original research — and want to know what it actually feels like to work alongside a university professor on a real scientific problem.
They want something real on their college application: a published paper on cancer biology, a thesis defense, and a professor's Letter of Recommendation.

"Cancer research is one of the most compelling topics a pre-med student can pursue. A published paper in this field tells admissions committees exactly who your student is."

What students achieve
Here's exactly what your child will walk away with

Over 12–15 weeks, students move from zero research experience to a completed, reviewed, and defended cancer biology paper — guided by a PhD professor and a professional Creative Writing Expert.

🔬
4,000+ Word Scientific Paper
A completed, publication-ready cancer biology manuscript — reviewed and approved by the PhD Professor of Biology.
🎤
Oral Thesis Defense
Students present their findings to a faculty panel and answer expert questions — just like real graduate researchers.
🏆
Faculty Letter of Recommendation
From your research professor. Automatically triggered when the paper earns its Stamp of Quality.
🌍
Conference & Journal Submission
Guided abstract writing and submission to cancer biology conferences and peer-reviewed journals worldwide.

Curriculum
The 7-track roadmap to publication

Every track is purpose-built. Together they take students from "I have an idea" to "I have a published cancer biology paper" — over 12 to 15 weeks of structured, expert-guided work.

Track 1Cancer Biology Research — The PI Method8 sessions · PhD Full Professor of Biology · Sundays 3:30 PM EST
Foundations of Cell BiologyCell division, DNA replication, and the molecular mechanisms that regulate normal cell growth — the foundation for understanding what goes wrong in cancer.
The Biology of CancerHow cancer develops — mutations, oncogenes, tumor suppressor genes, and the hallmarks of cancer that drive uncontrolled growth and survival.
Tumor Immunology & the Immune EscapeHow tumors evade the immune system — and how immunotherapy is being designed to restore the body's natural cancer-fighting response.
Targeted Therapy & Drug DevelopmentThe science behind targeted cancer drugs — from kinase inhibitors to monoclonal antibodies — and why drug resistance remains a central challenge in oncology.
Deep Dive: Research TopicsResearch tools and techniques; students identify and read peer-reviewed articles in their chosen cancer biology area.
Contents of a Research PaperPaper structure, academic databases, citation tools, and Q&A on the reading set.
Group Discussion — Topic Brainstorm & FinalizationStudents propose and finalize their individual research topics; professor guides on feasibility, originality, and scope.
Research Review & OutlineDeep dive strategies, data collection guidance, and rough outline per student.
Track 2Technical Writing & Publication5 sessions · Creative Writing Expert · Tuesdays 9:00 PM EST
The BlueprintSection-by-section outline of the paper; argument arc and evidence mapping.
The FrameworkDraft the hypothesis and introduction that justifies the study and previews the structure.
The NarrativeTranslate methodology into clear prose; present results with data tables and figures.
The ConclusionSynthesize findings, revisit the hypothesis, and connect results back to the literature.
Full Draft PolishEnd-to-end revision: voice, citations, abstract, and journal formatting for submission.
Track 3Presentation Mastery & Thesis Defense2 sessions · Communication Coach
Visual StorytellingDesign professional slides and data charts that communicate cancer biology findings to a scientific panel audience.
The Capstone Oral DefenseLive defense before a faculty panel — present findings and respond to expert questioning under pressure.
Track 4Private 1-on-1 Mentorship2–4 sessions · PhD Full Professor · Tailored schedule
PI Deep Dive IPrivate session with the Professor on research topic, methodology, and preliminary findings.
PI Deep Dive IIFollow-up to review the paper draft and finalize the thesis defense approach.
Track 5The Creative Writing Pod — Stamp of QualityCreative Writing Expert · Unlimited editing until publication-ready
DraftingWork 1:1 with a Pod Creative Writing Expert on every section of the paper.
Internal ReviewPod Expert checks the full draft against GG's professional scientific writing standards.
Final ApprovalLead Creative Writing Expert gives the formal Stamp of Quality — paper is publication-ready.
LOR TriggeredStamp of Quality automatically triggers the faculty Letter of Recommendation.
Unlimited EditingExpert feedback on every revision until the paper is definitively publication-perfect.
Track 6Research InternshipFor high-performing graduates
Mentor New ResearchersHigh-performing graduates return as Research Interns — mentoring the next cohort and building leadership credentials.
Track 7Scientific Conference StrategyMonthly sessions · Get your work noticed globally
Abstract Writing & Conference SubmissionGuided support to write and submit abstracts to cancer biology conferences and peer-reviewed journals worldwide.

Common questions
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the Biomedical & Life Sciences Research Program?
This is a focused track within the Biomedical & Life Sciences Research Program. The 7-track structure, faculty mentorship, Creative Writing Pod, and Stamp of Quality process are identical — but all research sessions, writing, and the thesis defense are specifically focused on cancer biology topics.
Do students need prior biology or science experience?
No. You just need genuine curiosity about cancer biology. The professor builds foundational knowledge alongside the research project, starting from cell biology and progressing through the specific cancer biology area the student chooses.
How does this help my child's college application?
A published paper on cancer biology, a thesis defense, and a professor's Letter of Recommendation are among the most powerful credentials a pre-med or biomedical applicant can hold. Almost no other applicant has conducted original cancer research at this level.
Are sessions group or individual?
Research (Track 1), Writing (Track 2), and Defense (Track 3) sessions are group format. Private 1-on-1 Deep Dives (Track 4) and the Creative Writing Pod (Track 5) are individual. Students get both.
Do you guarantee the paper gets published?
We don't guarantee publication — no one can. We do guarantee every student finishes a submission-ready paper with full guided submission support and a faculty review.
Is there support between sessions?
Yes. WhatsApp group for parents, Discord for students, and Program Coordinators, Research Interns, and Coach Jo available anytime via WhatsApp, Discord, email, or phone.
