Is this right for you?
This program is for you if…
Your student checks at least one of these boxes:
✓
They love writing — fiction, non-fiction, fantasy, memoir, or children's books — and have always wanted to write something real.✓
They want a verifiable, permanent college application credential that almost no other applicant has — a book with a real ISBN on Amazon.✓
They have an idea or a story but don't know how to structure it, develop it, or actually finish it.✓
Any grade level — publishing a book has no age limit, and the earlier they start, the more time they have to promote it before applications."A published book is something almost no high school student has. That's exactly why it matters."

Common questions
Frequently asked questions
What age or grade level is this program for?
Any age. There is no minimum or maximum grade level for the Author Program. Students as young as 13 have successfully published books through this program. The earlier a student starts, the more time they have to use the book on college applications.
What if my child doesn't have an idea yet?
Session 1 is specifically designed for this. Through guided brainstorming and genre exploration, students discover their story concept — even if they arrive with nothing more than a general interest area.
How long is the book?
Length varies by genre. A children's book might be 1,000–3,000 words. A young adult novel might be 30,000–60,000 words. The program is designed to meet the student where they are and build toward a complete, publish-ready manuscript in their chosen genre.
Is the book really published on Amazon?
Yes. Every book is published through Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing with a real ISBN. It is live, searchable, and purchasable on Amazon. This is not a self-hosted PDF or a printed-at-home document — it's a real book on the world's largest marketplace.
How does a published book help with college applications?
A published book is a Tier 1, independently verifiable achievement. It demonstrates initiative, creativity, follow-through, and communication — qualities every top program wants to see. Admissions officers can search for it by name in seconds. Very few applicants have anything remotely comparable.
Is there support between sessions?
Yes. Students can share drafts between sessions for asynchronous feedback from Rose, and Program Coordinators and Coach Jo are available via WhatsApp, Discord, email, or phone.
