Fully Flexible — You Set the Schedule This is an entirely 1-on-1 program. All sessions — research with the professor, writing with the Creative Writing Expert, and mentorship deep dives — are scheduled directly between the student and their mentor at mutual convenience. No fixed days or times.
Is this right for you?
This program is for you if…

Your student checks at least one of these boxes:

They're aiming for top CS, engineering, mathematics, or data science programs — and need original research to stand apart from thousands of other applicants.
They're genuinely fascinated by how neural networks learn, how financial algorithms predict markets, or how mathematics underpins modern AI.
They want to conduct original STEM research alongside a published university professor — using Python, real datasets, and real models.
They want something real on their college application: a published paper, a thesis defense, and a professor's Letter of Recommendation.

"A Published Paper, a Thesis Defense, and a Professor's Letter of Recommendation are the three most powerful things a high school student can have on a college application."

What students achieve
Here's exactly what your child will walk away with

Over 12–15 weeks at a pace that fits the student's schedule, they move from zero research experience to a completed, reviewed, and defended STEM paper — guided by a Tennessee Tech professor and a professional Creative Writing Expert.

🤖
4,000+ Word Research Paper
A completed, publication-ready AI, mathematics, or quantitative finance paper — reviewed and approved by the professor.
🎤
Oral Thesis Defense
Students present their findings to a faculty panel and answer expert questions — just like real graduate researchers.
🏆
Faculty Letter of Recommendation
From your research professor. Automatically triggered when the paper earns its Stamp of Quality.
🌍
Journal & Conference Submission
Guided abstract writing and submission to STEM journals and academic conferences worldwide.

Curriculum
The 7-track roadmap to publication

Every track is purpose-built. Together they take students from "I have an idea" to "I have a published paper" — on a fully flexible, 1-on-1 schedule.

Track 1 STEM Research — The PI Method 📅 Flexible · Student & Professor Convenience
Orientation & Track SelectionSurvey all four research directions; student selects primary track and initial research area with professor guidance.
Mathematical FoundationsCore mathematics underlying the chosen track: linear algebra, calculus, probability, and numerical methods.
Literature Review & Research QuestionSurvey peer-reviewed papers; identify a specific, testable research question and a gap in the existing literature.
Methodology, Models & ToolsPython and PyTorch setup; select the appropriate model architecture or mathematical framework for the research question.
Data Collection, Experiments & Model RunsData acquisition and cleaning; implement preliminary experiments, model training, or mathematical proofs.
Results Analysis & ValidationEvaluate model performance or mathematical findings; validate results against benchmarks or existing literature.
Implications, Ethics & LimitationsAddress real-world implications, algorithmic fairness, ethical considerations, and honest limitations of findings.
Full Paper Review & Defense PrepComplete paper review with professor; refine technical writing and mathematical precision; prepare for oral defense.
Track 2 Technical Writing & Publication 📅 Flexible · Student & Creative Writing Expert
The BlueprintSection-by-section outline of the paper; argument arc and evidence mapping.
The FrameworkDraft the hypothesis and introduction that justifies the study and previews the structure.
The NarrativeTranslate technical methodology and results into clear academic prose with appropriate figures and tables.
The ConclusionSynthesize findings, revisit the research question, and connect results back to the literature.
Full Draft PolishEnd-to-end revision: voice, citations, abstract, and journal formatting for submission.
Track 3Presentation Mastery & Thesis Defense2 sessions · Communication Coach
Visual StorytellingDesign professional slides, model diagrams, and data visualizations that communicate STEM findings to a faculty panel.
The Capstone Oral DefenseLive defense before a faculty panel — present findings and respond to expert technical questioning under pressure.
Track 4 Private 1-on-1 Mentorship 📅 Flexible · Student & Professor Convenience
PI Deep Dive IPrivate session with the professor on research topic, model selection, methodology, and preliminary results.
PI Deep Dive IIFollow-up to review the paper draft, sharpen technical arguments, and finalize the thesis defense approach.
Track 5The Creative Writing Pod — Stamp of QualityCreative Writing Expert · Unlimited editing
DraftingWork 1:1 with a Pod Creative Writing Expert on every section of the paper.
Internal ReviewPod Expert checks the full draft against GG's professional academic writing standards.
Final ApprovalLead Creative Writing Expert gives the formal Stamp of Quality — paper is publication-ready.
LOR TriggeredStamp of Quality automatically triggers the faculty Letter of Recommendation.
Unlimited EditingExpert feedback on every revision until the paper is definitively publication-perfect.
Track 6Research InternshipFor high-performing graduates
Mentor New ResearchersHigh-performing graduates return as Research Interns — mentoring the next cohort and building leadership credentials.
Track 7Academic Conference StrategyMonthly sessions · Get your work noticed
Abstract Writing & Journal SubmissionGuided support to write and submit abstracts to STEM conferences and peer-reviewed journals worldwide.

Common questions
Frequently asked questions
Do students need prior AI or programming experience?
Basic familiarity with Python is helpful but not required. The professor teaches the tools alongside the research — students have produced strong papers starting from very different technical backgrounds.
How does a student choose their research track?
During the free call, we help match the student's interests to the right direction — AI & Deep Learning, Quantitative Finance, Computer Vision, or Advanced Mathematics. The professor then helps narrow to a specific research question in session one.
How does flexible scheduling work?
After enrollment, the student and professor connect directly to agree on a recurring schedule. The same applies for writing sessions. No fixed days or times — built around your student's life and timezone.
How does this help my child's college application?
A published AI or mathematics paper, a thesis defense, and a professor's Letter of Recommendation from a Tennessee Tech faculty member are among the most powerful STEM credentials a high school student can hold.
Do you guarantee the paper gets published?
We don't guarantee publication — no one can. We do guarantee every student finishes a submission-ready paper with full guided submission support and a faculty review.
Is there support between sessions?
Yes. WhatsApp group for parents, Discord for students, and Program Coordinators, Research Interns, and Coach Jo available anytime via WhatsApp, Discord, email, or phone.
